In 2003, we purchased embryos from Bill Rishel of Rishel Angus and have since continued doing embryo work with Rishel Angus. Bill has been very helpful in choosing A.I. sires each year. Today's herd is straight from the genetics of flushed cows with Rishel Angus.

Three cows that have had a substantial influence on the genetics of the herd are B/R Queen 067, B/R Ruby of Tiffany 838, and B/R Beauty 789.  B/R Queen 067 cow was purchased for $10,000 in 2006 and just recently saw her 18th birthday at Autumn Oaks. Our most common cow family is Ruby of Tiffany.
